Opening - Introduction of ACE on Solar Cells

In this Physics project I planned a learning package based solely on the concept and application of solar cells. Just as when everyone is using global warming as a catch-all excuse for anything that went wrong with our Earth, many had come up with a series of alternative energies to be considered by humans. These energies hopefully can replace the method of burning fossil fuels which leaves a large amount of carbon footprints on earth, and thereby decelerate the process of global warming. One of these energies which is targeted highly to become the new energy for the next generation will be the all-time available and F.O.C. SOLAR ENERGY. Using simple solar cells, the omnipresent solar energy is easily captured and converted to various forms beneficial to mankind.

In this package, I will include the brief description of a solar cell, how did it came about and how does it work. I will also include some life examples of using solar energy to do work in a greener style, such as solar buildings and solar power plants. Interesting videos and some pictures to better illustrate the concept will be used, so enjoy this learning experience!
